The association is a non-profit international umbrella organization for national associations or sections and individual members of anthroposophically active pharmacists. The purpose of the association is to improve the national and international supply of all people through the increased implementation and integration of anthroposophical pharmacy in national and international health systems. In detail, the goals and tasks are: Representation of anthroposophically active pharmacists in the anthroposophical-medical movement and in public life at the international level; Creation of standards for training and further education in anthroposophical pharmacy for the production, consulting of patients, doctors and therapists to improve the supply of anthroposophical medicines; Creation of standards for the quality, safety and efficacy of anthroposophical medicines and support for their implementation in health systems; Promotion of research in anthroposophical pharmacy; Creation or support for the creation of anthroposophical-pharmaceutical specialist publications as well as training materials for anthroposophical pharmacy for international recognition in the pharmaceutical specialist world; Establishment of a collegiate network of anthroposophically active pharmacists; Initiating/coordinating international activities in anthroposophical pharmacy as well as cooperation with partner organizations and medical specialist groups.
