International Association for Popular Cooperation (IAPC)

To empower, promote and support food-producing communities in Southern countries, in order to promote food production and strengthen local economies. The Association, together with peasant organizations, cooperatives, associations and individuals committed to its mission, will achieve its objectives through: a. the development of economic cooperation programs; b. the promotion and advancement of fair trade in healthy food on all continents; c. the progress of agro-ecological techniques through schools and exchanges between farmers; d. research and publication on agricultural economics; e. sharing information with the public between agricultural cooperatives, farmers and other peasant communities; f. improving access to higher education for marginalized communities; g. promoting public research on healthy food. The Association operates exclusively for non-profit purposes, the aforementioned measures serving this purpose.
