The association aims to promote and develop public health care through the dissemination of anthroposophical therapies and applications within the system of anthroposophical medicine, which are recognized by the Medical Section at the Goetheanum, Dornach, or are in the process of recognition, coordinating national anthroposophical therapists' associations or professional associations at the international level, promoting cooperation between national and international health organizations and representatives of anthroposophical therapies, promoting the development and providing mutual assistance and support to anthroposophical therapists and practitioners in countries where no professional association exists, as well as promoting science, research, and teaching within anthroposophical therapies and applications. The association is politically independent and confessionally neutral. The association does not pursue commercial purposes and is not profit-oriented.
