The acquisition of participations, the holding and all operations related to the sustainable management of participations in all Swiss and/or foreign companies in the sense of a holding company, excluding operations prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE), i.e. with the exception of any real estate transaction in Switzerland that does not have an exclusively commercial purpose, the trade, import and export of metals and minerals, the administration and management of foreign entities. The company may: grant loans and/or guarantees to shareholders and/or subsidiaries, acquire, use, exploit and/or defend patents, trademarks, copyrights, designs and any other intellectual property rights for itself and/or its group, carry out all commercial, financial or securities transactions directly or indirectly related to its purpose, take participations in other companies and may create subsidiaries both in Switzerland and abroad, with the exception of taking participations in companies (including subsidiaries) subject to the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE), i.e. with the exception of any real estate transaction in Switzerland that does not have an exclusively commercial purpose, establish branches in Switzerland and/or abroad.
