The foundation aims to support sick, ownerless, abandoned and mistreated animals in general, and to provide support for the accommodation and care of such animals in particular. Preferred beneficiaries are WWF Switzerland, Hohlstrasse 110, Postfach, 8010 Zurich, Pro Natura, Swiss League for Nature Conservation, Central Secretariat, Dornacherstrasse 192, Postfach, 4018 Basel, and the Swiss Ornithological Institute Sempach, 6204 Sempach. The foundation may also be active in the human sector, provided that this involves supporting life forms disadvantaged by nature, such as mountain farmer aid, etc. The preferred beneficiary in this case is the Swiss Sponsorship for Mountain Communities, Asylstr. 74, Postfach, 8030 Zurich. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose. The foundation's profits and capital are explicitly dedicated to the aforementioned purpose. It can acquire, hold and sell real estate.
