The purpose of the foundation is to distribute the annual returns on the foundation's assets, as well as a maximum of 20% of the foundation's total capital, calculated on the foundation's capital as of January 1, 2023, in the following manner: 1/3 through the Pro Juventute foundation, central secretariat, in Zurich, for the benefit of needy children and families in mountain regions; 1/3 through the Kinderdorf Pestalozzi foundation in Trogen, for the benefit of the children of the Kinderdorf; 1/3 through the Lungenliga Schweiz for the benefit of needy children suffering from asthma and other diseases. The Lungenliga Schweiz will establish a fund to fulfill this purpose. Should the need for one or more of the above-mentioned purposes cease to exist in the future, the foundation board may use the available funds for other youth and family aid tasks.
