The company's purpose is the acquisition, disposal, holding and management, directly or indirectly, of participations in companies in Switzerland and abroad, excluding operations prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE). As a secondary purpose, the company may: (a) create subsidiaries and branches and hold participations in all enterprises, excluding participations in non-listed real estate companies; (b) acquire, hold, encumber and dispose of real estate, in compliance with the provisions of the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE) and intellectual property rights; (c) carry out all commercial, financial or other transactions that are directly or indirectly related to its corporate purpose; (d) grant loans and other direct or indirect financing to group companies and third parties, including its shareholders (direct and indirect) and companies of their groups, and provide collateral of all kinds for their obligations, including through pledges or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or guarantees of all kinds, for consideration or not.
