The purpose of the association is to preserve and promote a contemporary hunting culture in Switzerland. The association has the following tasks: promoting and preserving wildlife and their habitats, representing the interests of the Swiss hunting community at home and abroad, maintaining and ensuring a fair and sustainable hunting practice, while preserving and promoting the interests of all hunters and considering the existing hunting systems, different types of hunting and the cultural and landscape diversity in Switzerland, supporting its members, ensuring national public relations and cooperating with like-minded organizations.
