The foundation exclusively fulfills public and cultural purposes by making grants to tax-exempt organizations and institutions in the canton of Zurich or to organizations and institutions whose activities are in the general interest of Switzerland. Within the framework of its purpose, the foundation can also make grants to individuals and/or specific individual projects. The foundation does not pursue commercial or profit-making purposes. The foundation fulfills its tasks by making grants exclusively for the following purposes: alleviating human suffering; caring for children, young people, the elderly, the sick, the disabled and the infirm; education and further training of disadvantaged people; promoting scientific, cultural and artistic creation; promoting homeland, nature and environmental protection.
