The JOCKEY CLUB and its members promote the understanding of the thoroughbred horse and thoroughbred racing. They pursue this goal in particular through: Co-financing of a gallop race, which is held annually as one of the highlights of the Int. Zurich Horse Racing and run under the name "GRAND PRIX JOCKEY CLUB". Possible co-financing of further races of the Zurich Racing Association and, if the funds permit, granting of loans for the benefit of improving the infrastructure and expansion of the Zurich-Dielsdorf Equestrian Center; Supporting the training of young jockeys; Inviting members to the following events: to the GRAND PRIX JOCKEY CLUB with free admission to the RVZ grandstand accompanied by their partner; to lunch meetings organized by the JOCKEY CLUB, which are preferably combined with racing-related lectures and discussions. The JOCKEY CLUB can also organize racing excursions, such as visits to stud farms, participation in exceptional foreign races, etc.
