The company's purpose is to acquire, hold, exploit and/or license trademarks, patents, copyrights and other intellectual property rights used in the Fire Suppression Business and related thereto. The Fire Suppression Business refers to the design, installation, sale, repair, service and support of fire detection and fire suppression systems as well as related electronic systems of the group companies of Johnson Controls International plc and the provision of services in the field of trademarks, patents, copyrights and other intellectual property rights for the group companies. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad and participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad. The company may acquire, hold, manage, encumber and sell real estate in Switzerland and abroad. The company may grant direct or indirect financing to its direct or indirect subsidiaries and third parties, including its direct or indirect shareholders and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, provide security of any kind, including by way of pledges or fiduciary transfers or assignments of the company's assets, or guarantees, enter into suretyships or otherwise secure or guarantee obligations of the company or these other companies, whether for consideration or not. Furthermore, it may engage in cash pooling with the aforementioned companies or join such a system, including periodic account balancing. All of this may be done by the company without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest, excluding the company's profit motive and assuming cluster risks. The company may engage in all commercial, financial and other activities that appear suitable to promote the company's purpose or are related thereto.
