The company's purpose is the acquisition, holding, permanent management and sale of participations in companies of all types in Switzerland and/or abroad, within the limits of the LFAIE. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and/or abroad. The company may acquire, hold and sell real estate, within the limits of the LFAIE. The company may carry out all commercial, financial or other transactions having a direct or indirect connection with its corporate purpose. The company may also grant loans or other financing, on an onerous or gratuitous basis, to its direct or indirect parent companies and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, and provide security of any kind for the commitments of these group companies, including guarantees, pledges and fiduciary transfers of the company's assets. Furthermore, it may carry out cash pooling/centralization of net liquidity, including periodic balance adjustments, with group companies or participate in them, also without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest, excluding the company's profit-making purposes and taking significant risks.
