The association aims to promote and further develop the teaching and practice of classical Chinese medicine, particularly acupuncture and therapeutic methodology, through the following activities: conducting and promoting training and further education in the field of acupuncture and Chinese medicine; developing, maintaining and disseminating classical content and therapeutic methods of Chinese medicine; promoting professional qualifications through educational offers and certifications; public relations to publicize Chinese medicine; publications, specialist events and research initiatives; cooperation with institutions at home and abroad. The association can be active in other purpose-related areas, provided they are compatible with the association's objectives. The association is politically and denominationally neutral.
