The foundation aims to: alleviate human distress and promote human well-being; support projects in Belp and the surrounding area that strengthen social cohesion and contribute to the revitalization of the village and the region; promote talent, particularly among young people in the fields of sports and arts; preserve natural habitats and their wildlife and flora, as well as support economically weak regions, particularly mountain areas; and promote medical development, particularly in the field of Parkinson's disease. To this end, the foundation can support selected charitable and non-profit institutions in Switzerland with projects both domestically and abroad, as well as make contributions to individuals domestically and abroad, as chosen by the foundation board. To achieve the foundation's purpose, the foundation can also acquire and dispose of real estate and immovable property. The foundation can operate internationally within the scope of its purpose. The foundation can, in particular, cooperate with and/or support other organizations. It can establish and operate other legal entities or merge with them, if the purpose allows. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose. The profits and capital of the foundation are exclusively dedicated to the aforementioned purpose. It is politically and denominationally neutral.
