The foundation aims to enable and facilitate the Roman Catholic Church to hold religious services, exercise parish and regional pastoral care (in the Moesa district) and fulfill other pastoral tasks, in particular religious education in the parish of Roveredo and the two valleys of Mesolcina and Calanca. This is achieved through the acquisition of ownership and management of the property currently owned by the founder in the municipality of Roveredo, approximately 1,300 m2 with residential building No. 211 A from the cantonal fire insurance in the Frazione Bellecc on the municipal territory of Roveredo, as registered in the land register; the construction of any necessary purpose-built buildings; and the procurement and management of additional funds.
