The foundation's purpose is to promote and support the education of talented, potentially socially disadvantaged, young people and young adults. In particular, the foundation may establish and/or operate training facilities (including the acquisition of real estate) for the purpose of such education, where trainees can also live. The education is intended to be broad-based and should also be offered in the fields of international culture, art, sports, healthcare, and politics. It should enable individuals who want to and can engage in the common good. Furthermore, the foundation may also support institutions that pursue similar goals, as well as non-profit organizations or hospitals, whereas donations to political parties are excluded. The foundation operates within this purpose in Switzerland and worldwide, initially with a focus on Japan and Southeast Asia. The foundation also aims to make visible and manage the artistic assets dedicated to it. For this purpose, the foundation may, in particular, establish and maintain contact with museums, galleries, and other comparable institutions. The foundation may conclude contracts with such institutions to exhibit the dedicated art temporarily or permanently. The foundation may also provide financial support to such institutions. The foundation operates worldwide within this purpose.
