Kolping Switzerland aims, in accordance with the provisions of the General Statutes, to enable its members to engage as Christians in the world and thus in their profession, marriage and family, church, society and state; to offer its members and society practical assistance; and to promote the common good in a Christian sense through the activities of its members and groups, and to contribute to the continuous renewal and humanization of society. For Kolping Switzerland, this means preparing and implementing programs and actions, as well as coordinating individual initiatives of its Kolping families and regional associations, in particular: creating opportunities for encounters and education, and conducting courses for leaders; encouraging meaningful leisure activities and fostering conviviality; promoting interest in the founding of new Kolping families; publishing a association magazine and other writings in printed and/or electronic form; establishing, promoting and maintaining social institutions and services; promoting social and development projects in Switzerland and abroad; and informing the public about its activities and concerns.
