UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) is the children's aid organization of the United Nations and advocates for the well-being of children worldwide. The association represents the interests of UNICEF in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The association aims to make an active contribution to improving the situation of children worldwide and in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, to advocate for the granting of children's rights to all children regardless of race, religion, origin, nationality, and affiliation, and to promote international solidarity among the Swiss and Liechtenstein populations. The framework for the association's work is the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
