The purpose of the Konrad-Basler-Stiftung is to promote research and education at Swiss universities, particularly in the genealogical and biological fields of identical twins, as well as in the fields of engineering and architecture. Additionally, the foundation aims to manage, process, and evaluate the comprehensively documented work of Konrad Basler as an outstanding personality in Switzerland's political, scientific, and economic life. To this end, editions and works on his scientific and journalistic work can be supported. The foundation exercises its promotional activities through the financing or co-financing of selected projects and initiatives in science, education, and research. The foundation can also award scholarships to needy individuals residing in Switzerland and support study projects and other non-profit institutions that are exempt from taxation. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
