The cooperative aims to preserve the existing infrastructure of consumption through joint self-help, thereby promoting the shops as a meeting place. In doing so, the cooperative contributes to the shopping opportunities in the villages of Riederalp and the preservation of the value of the shops owned by the cooperative, and provides its members with a direct material benefit through local shopping opportunities with gastronomy and cooperative events and campaigns. The cooperative can participate in companies with the same or similar objectives and conduct all business that is directly or indirectly related to its purpose and is suitable for promoting or facilitating the achievement of the cooperative's purpose, including the acquisition or sale of real estate. The cooperative's activity is non-profit and not profit-oriented.
