Krebsliga Thurgau

The League aims to combat cancer on a medical-scientific basis and to alleviate the economic and social consequences of the disease, particularly through the organization of advisory centers and participation in such, the financial and social support of cancer patients, the prevention and early detection of the disease, the education of the public and the medical profession, the support and promotion of scientific cancer research, and the counseling and accompaniment of chronically ill persons. It is politically and denominationally neutral. It is primarily active in the canton of Thurgau. In justified exceptional cases, it can act beyond Thurgau, particularly through the support of institutions with similar objectives and through contributions to research institutes.
