The foundation exclusively pursues non-profit and charitable purposes through cooperation with and support of development aid organizations, in particular by financing specific projects, such as scientific work and publications or measures in development cooperation to promote self-help and increase social welfare. The foundation fulfills this purpose, among other things, through extensive commitment and diverse support in the social and humanitarian field, in the social investment field, in the cultural field, in the sports and youth promotion field, in the education field, as well as in the nature and ecology field. The foundation can define focal themes at the regulatory level. The local scope of the foundation is not limited and can include both Swiss and international engagements and activities. The foundation operates selflessly and exclusively pursues non-profit purposes. A commercial purpose is not intended at any time. The foundation's funds may only be used for the purposes specified in the statutes.
