Kulturstiftung der UBS Aargau/Solothurn

The purpose of the foundation is to promote artistic and cultural creation in the cantons of Aargau and Solothurn, as well as artists, groups, and event organizers with a qualified connection to the cantons of Aargau and Solothurn, with the promotion mainly focusing on the canton of Aargau. Funding for the canton of Solothurn can be allocated on a situational basis for projects with a broad appeal to the Solothurn population. To achieve the foundation's purpose, the foundation can organize competitions, exhibitions, performances, lectures, commission artists and scholars, create exhibition opportunities, and acquire works of art. It can also support and promote similar endeavors of other cultural institutions.
