To promote and recognize independent and diverse cultural creation in the interest of working people and their organizations. In particular: to promote cultural activities that deal with the world of work and workers; to support artists who work accordingly; to promote the creative self-expression of working people; to award cultural works that deal with the working and living conditions of employees and contribute to a better understanding of the labor movement and its goals; to honor long-standing creative work and activities.
