The foundation's purpose is (i) to develop the technology for the KYVE ecosystem, (ii) to develop and promote distributed ledger and blockchain technologies and applications, as well as new business models that build on the KYVE ecosystem, (iii) to develop and promote the KYVE ecosystem, (iv) to provide training and education in the field of KYVE ecosystem technology, (v) to promote public awareness of the KYVE ecosystem and its applications, and (vi) to issue, hold, and manage digital and non-digital assets for this purpose. To fulfill this purpose, the foundation may, in particular: implement and manage its own projects and support and finance suitable research and development activities, as well as projects, companies, and individuals (grants); acquire, hold, manage, or grant trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights or licenses, GitHub repositories, and fiat currencies; issue, receive, transfer, and hold digital information units (tokens) (no speculative trading activities); organize, conduct, and support training sessions, hackathons, developer events, and the like for participants in the KYVE ecosystem and interested developers; create and provide training materials such as developer kits and technical descriptions; organize conferences or other events that support and promote the KYVE ecosystem and its protocol; contact various companies, partners, banks, regulators, authorities, or other third parties for the benefit of the KYVE ecosystem; host, manage, and maintain websites and interfaces; conduct and promote all business and/or participate in all transactions, and generally take all actions that are necessary, appropriate, related, or desirable to achieve or promote the goals described herein. The foundation may also assign the fulfillment of its tasks to other organizations, create and/or promote existing ones. The foundation may fulfill its purpose through its own employees or outsource the fulfillment of its tasks. The foundation may participate in other companies and establish subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation may participate in other blockchain projects with tokens. The foundation may operate in Switzerland and abroad within the scope of its purpose. The foundation is non-profit and does not aim to make a profit. However, the foundation may generate profits to the extent necessary to achieve its purpose.
