SuisseDev is a non-profit association dedicated to developing and creating socio-economic and cultural structures for the benefit of rural populations in sub-Saharan Africa. For over 30 years, it has been active in Mali, particularly with the Dogon people, before expanding its activities to the rest of Mali in 2020 and then to the rest of sub-Saharan Africa in 2023. The association's historical area of activity, the Dogon Country, remains a priority region where the association will continue to maintain its activities. Specifically, its goals include improving access to water for the population, developing income-generating opportunities, promoting access to education for children, ensuring the health protection of the population, promoting the functioning of economic structures to finance and maintain collective achievements, developing links between Mali and Switzerland (the association's historical country of activity), promoting access to renewable technologies, promoting the dissemination of agricultural techniques, and promoting energy transition in rural areas.
