LA MINGA ROOTS is a multidisciplinary project organized as an association. The association focuses on three main areas: cultural mediation, support for sustainable business development, and support for social projects. The starting point for the various activities of the association are artistic and other cultural expressions. The main goals of the association are: to support and promote arts and various traditional and independent cultural expressions present in Bern and Switzerland, so that they contribute positively to the transformation of communities. To offer workshops that, through art and cultural expressions (music, dance, audiovisual, plastic arts, etc.), invite to explore and discover new forms of collaboration in the work context, promoting the well-being and creativity of the participants. To support social projects in Switzerland and elsewhere that advocate for peace, human rights, and social justice. To discover, create, and strengthen cooperation networks between LA MINGA ROOTS as an artistic and cultural association and other organizations, institutions, and structures to promote social development and well-being. The association is a nomadic space for collective work, mutual support, and promotion of well-being - a space to build community around culture, without any exclusion, but open to all people. The association is non-denominational and politically independent. It does not pursue commercial purposes and does not aim for profit. The bodies act on a voluntary basis.
