The foundation aims to contribute to adapting to climate change and promoting sustainable development through its activities and projects. Specifically, the foundation intends to contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, preserving biodiversity, and achieving additional positive social and ecological development impacts through its measures. Based on the approach of integrated regional development, the foundation aims to achieve a long-term development impact by combining ecological, economic, social, and socio-economic fields. The foundation will support projects that promote the development and implementation of the landscape approach in developing and emerging countries and provide financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (including other projects or private sector organizations, including cooperatives, farmers' associations, or local financial institutions, hereinafter collectively referred to as SMEs). The foundation operates both domestically and internationally to achieve its purpose. The foundation does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit. All generated returns are used in accordance with the foundation's purpose.
