The foundation aims to promote the development of new technologies and applications, particularly in the context of new, open and decentralized software architectures. It strives to develop, maintain, promote and preserve decentralized and open technologies. A key focus is on promoting the development of the LAOS protocol and related technology, as well as promoting and supporting applications that utilize this technology or protocol. To this end, the foundation may: 1. Promote corresponding activities of third parties; 2. Finance corresponding activities and projects; 3. Receive and distribute contributions and participate in other companies; 4. Issue, receive, distribute or hold digital blockchain-based information units; 5. Support the LAOS ecosystem; 6. Engage in discussions with regulatory authorities and third parties; 7. Support the development and promotion of the LAOS token and/or the LAOS protocol; 8. Own and grant IP rights and/or licenses; 9. Provide audit and technical monitoring services for the issuance and sale of tokens and the development of the LAOS protocol; 10. Conduct and support all business and/or participate in all transactions, as well as take all measures that support the purpose of the foundation; 11. Promote the decentralization of the effect of the LAOS protocol by promoting the decentralization of ownership of LAOS tokens; and 12. Support the implementation of a decentralized governance process for the LAOS protocol and, once properly established, support the implementation of decisions made in such a decentralized process. The foundation may delegate all its tasks to other organizations, establish and/or promote such organizations. Within the scope of its purpose, the foundation plays an active role in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation does not pursue any profit-making or self-help purposes. It is authorized to establish additional foundations in Switzerland and abroad within the scope of its purpose and to pursue joint projects with domestic and foreign foundations with similar purposes.
