The LEMVOA Association aims to uncover and share meaningful visual narratives related to major societal impact issues, sustainability, inclusion, social cohesion, and ecological transition. It draws inspiration from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and seeks to engage emotions, imagination, and consciousness around projects with strong human and collective value. To achieve this goal, the association develops, among other things:
- Collaborative photographic, audiovisual, and sound projects;
- Artistic, social, and educational exhibitions, publications, and films;
- Participatory workshops, visual storytelling training, and educational resources;
- Mediation, awareness-raising, or education actions on image, sustainability, and social impact (conferences, round tables, public events);
- Transmedia formats combining photography, video, sound, writing, and digital tools;
- Co-creation approaches with audiences or affected individuals, with a focus on inclusion, participation, and the valorization of lived experiences;
- Partnerships in Switzerland and abroad that promote cultural exchange and the visibility of local initiatives.
The association operates on a non-profit basis, with a spirit of contributing to the common good and serving the general interest.
