Leo Future Foundation

The Leo Future Foundation aims to promote individuals, projects, and institutions that can be assigned to at least one of the four foundation's focal areas. The foundation's focal areas are equal aspects of the broader foundation's purpose and define the foundation's scope of action. The foundation operates primarily, but not exclusively, in Switzerland within the framework of its purpose. The foundation has no commercial purpose and does not strive for profit. The Leo Future Foundation promotes projects and collaborations with medical institutions that have a direct application to patients who are not in a social or economic situation to bear the costs of life-sustaining measures on their own. The foundation particularly, but not exclusively, promotes surgical interventions and immunological treatments for children, adolescents, and young adults. The Leo Future Foundation financially supports selected projects and individuals, with the goal of positively influencing the social development of society. The Leo Future Foundation prefers, but not exclusively, supports projects of natural and legal persons that enable economically and socially disadvantaged people to participate equally in society. A particular focus of the foundation is on supporting projects that promote access to all levels of education and vocational training, emphasizing holistic inclusion in the education and labor market. The foundation also promotes students at Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences with the award of personal and performance-related scholarships to finance their living expenses during their studies, as well as with one-time endowed prizes for outstanding achievements. The Leo Future Foundation actively promotes sports and cultural development. Both are driving forces of a progressive and forward-looking society. Sports and culture complement the foundation's first two focal areas and are in direct interaction with each other. The Leo Future Foundation aims to take these interdependencies into account in all its activities. The focus is on providing financial support to natural and legal persons in the sports and cultural sectors. The Leo Future Foundation financially supports selected projects that aim to positively influence sustainable development in the shared living space of humans and the environment. The Leo Future Foundation prefers, but not exclusively, supports projects of institutions that contribute to the preservation of natural habitats of ecosystems through sustainable resource management. The foundation also promotes projects that promote the transfer of knowledge and skills related to sustainability, thus making a contribution to education and awareness within society.
