The Company's purpose is the operation, holding and promotion of hotels and hotel properties, inns, cafes, restaurants, bars, dance halls as well as the acquisition, sale, administration and management of participations in commercial, financial, industrial and real estate companies (whose purpose is limited to commercial buildings), or any other related field, as well as advising companies and individuals in these areas, including project management or any other activity deemed relevant in the context of its operations. The Company may also, in Switzerland and abroad: establish branches or subsidiaries, take participations in, and more generally participate in, all companies and entities having a direct or indirect relationship with its purpose; carry out, either on its own account or on behalf of third parties, any operation directly or indirectly related to its purpose or likely to promote it; and grant loans or any other form of financing to, and provide guarantees of any kind, for the direct or indirect benefit of its shareholders, companies of the same group or third parties, in particular in the form of guarantees, pledges or securities on the Company's assets.
