to promote the development of autonomy and physical as well as intellectual potential of children and young adults (up to 20 years) with various disabilities (such as brain injuries, congenital diseases or severe injuries due to accidents) by promoting classical or innovative therapies, in particular among the medical and paramedical professions; to grant children and young adults with disabilities the greatest possible autonomy in order to improve their quality of life; to raise awareness among health professionals about the existence of new therapies and to support research and training in this field; to implement projects facilitating access to these new therapies for children and young adults with disabilities; to promote the integration of children with various disabilities into non-specialized schools (cf. statutes for full purpose).
