The association aims to promote the common economic and ideological interests of its members through the development, maintenance, and administration of a bio-label. The main purpose of LuxAgro is to promote organic farming in Switzerland as an environmentally, animal, and human-friendly cultivation method. The association also pursues the following objectives: granting the label to applicants whose farms and products meet the legal requirements of the Swiss organic regulation as well as the guidelines issued by the association, in order to strengthen their market position. Ensuring the credibility and market value of the label through transparent examination of applicants. To achieve its purpose, the association may operate a business managed in a commercially sound manner, conclude contracts, and conduct all transactions that are conducive to the association's purpose. It may generate profits, which are reinvested for the further development of the association and the promotion of its purpose.
