The association aims to create an attractive platform on which its member companies can jointly develop a successful legal services offering. The association shall act in the best interests of the association and its members. In this context, the association shall, in accordance with the decisions of the general meeting or the board of directors: act as a coordinator for the association, including the development of the association's strategy and business objectives for the benefit of all member companies; promote international cooperation and cohesion among member companies in all aspects of their business activities; establish, approve and ensure compliance with quality standards for the association's services; establish rules of conduct for member companies in their dealings with clients and ensure their compliance, particularly with regard to conflicts, money laundering and risk management; coordinate the internet and intranet facilities used by all member companies, and, where necessary, their multilingualism, with regard to coordination, corporate policy and programs; coordinate the development of new systems, processes and procedures for uniform application within the association; coordinate the development and integration of new services and products; coordinate corporate communications and joint projects to market the services of member companies; coordinate uniform principles and actions of member companies regarding entrepreneurial and social responsibility; strengthen the professional reputation of the association and its member companies; and perform all other functions that arise from the aforementioned purposes for the benefit of all member companies, directly or indirectly related to these or arising from the supplementary regulations.
