The company's purpose is the importation and trade of all types of products, particularly wine. It may also acquire, hold, sell, and grant patents, copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights as well as licenses of any kind. The company may establish branches, participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, acquire similar or related businesses, or partner with such businesses. It may acquire, hold, and sell real estate, except for transactions prohibited by the LFAIE. The company may grant loans or other financing, either gratuitously or for a fee, to its direct or indirect parent or subsidiary companies and provide guarantees of any kind for the obligations of these other companies, including through pledges on the company's assets or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets, or through guarantees of any kind.
