Marc-Blaser-Stiftung

The foundation aims to continue the humanitarian work of Marc Ulrich Blaser, who died in 1985 while serving the International Committee of the Red Cross in Angola, and pursues the following goals: to further support the three primary schools established and funded from his estate: Ecole Primaire Publique Marc Blaser, Kpélé Elé, Togo, West Africa, Dhungeshowari Primary School, Jiri, Nepal, and Fundación Marc Blaser, Mariquita, Colombia; to provide contributions to existing or newly established aid projects in poor countries, particularly in the areas of nutrition, health, and education, with a focus on projects in rural areas that require the active participation of the local population for their implementation and maintenance; to provide financial support to organizations active in the field of development aid and technical cooperation.
