Support and promotion of non-profit and cultural works, as well as support for organizations and events whose activities and success serve the public interest, operation of youth promotion and support for direct and indirect aid for children and young adults in Switzerland and abroad, particularly in the field of education or in difficult social circumstances, contributes to the promotion of economic development and the securing of jobs in Eastern Switzerland (e.g. by granting loans on preferential terms). The foundation may extend its activities to other sectors, provided they are in line with the aforementioned purpose. It has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
