mediCuba-Suisse undertakes and promotes projects to improve medical care for the Cuban population, particularly by supplying the Cuban industry with raw materials and process technologies, with the aim of helping to overcome the shortages caused by the US blockade against Cuba. mediCuba-Suisse works with the Cuban Ministry of Health MINSAP and/or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) active in the health sector. mediCuba-Suisse supports and advises Swiss organizations, institutions, and individuals who are active within the framework of mediCuba-Suisse's goals. mediCuba-Suisse promotes medical-scientific cooperation through personnel exchanges between Cuban, Swiss, and international experts, thereby contributing to the further development of the Cuban healthcare system and strengthening Cuba's position in the international health debate. mediCuba-Suisse seeks to deepen knowledge about the Cuban healthcare system and raise awareness among the Swiss population about the Cuban reality through information and awareness-raising work (written publications, digital media, events). mediCuba-Suisse can use or support other means that prove to be useful within the framework of its purpose and goal, particularly Cuban health brigades in third countries.
