The purpose of the company is to acquire, hold, manage and dispose of participations in regional and supra-regional companies in the field of manufacturing and trading of medical products, laboratory equipment and pharmaceutical products, as well as to advise and support the participating companies, which extends to all activities related thereto, including management support for the participating companies. Legal and tax consulting are not the subject of the company. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. The company may grant loans or other financing to third parties, including companies in which it is directly or indirectly involved, as well as direct or indirect shareholders of the company or companies in which these direct or indirect shareholders of the company are directly or indirectly involved, conclude cash-pooling agreements with such third parties and provide security of all kinds for their liabilities and issue guarantees, in each case whether against payment or not and even if these legal transactions are in the exclusive interest of the third parties. The company may acquire, manage, encumber and dispose of real estate, participations and intellectual property rights in Switzerland and abroad. The company may engage in any further activity that is directly or indirectly related to the aforementioned purposes.
