The Foundation operates worldwide with national and international decision-makers (political, legislative, professional, and associations) to develop health policies and regulatory and care frameworks adapted to each individual. The Foundation is committed to giving a voice to patients, families, and caregivers, as well as promoting truly patient-centered treatments, particularly in the field of cardiovascular diseases. The Foundation actively monitors national and international legislative and regulatory developments, supports and defends ethical and legal regulations and reforms, supports alternative funding programs, organizes conferences and/or creates coalitions to inform patient communities about legislative developments that promote access to or coverage of medications or therapeutic protocols and enable them to become agents of change. To achieve its objective, it develops research projects and relies on the work, research, and contributions of patient communities, particularly through the entities of the "the Mended Hearts International Network" network. The Foundation supports patients with cardiovascular diseases, including multiple pathological states, such as heart disease, strokes, diabetes, obesity, chronic kidney disease, cancers, sleep apnea, and depression, as well as their families by creating an inclusive and benevolent community through meaningful connections. The Foundation also empowers patients with cardiovascular diseases, including multiple pathological states, such as heart disease, strokes, diabetes, obesity, chronic kidney disease, cancers, sleep apnea, and depression, and their families by providing them with relevant training and resources that enable them to make better decisions about their healthcare. The Foundation also ensures the independence and sustainability of the Mended Hearts International Network and its entities, inspiring non-profit organizations whose vision is to improve the lives of patients with cardiovascular diseases, including multiple pathological states, such as heart disease, strokes, diabetes, obesity, chronic kidney disease, cancers, sleep apnea, and depression, as well as their families and caregivers worldwide, through peer support, patient education, and advocacy. The Foundation also ensures the preservation of the values and ethics of the Network.
