The defense of human rights and the promotion of development in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa; in order to achieve the aforementioned goals, the association will focus on the following activities: implementation of strategic projects aimed at defending human rights and development; promotion of democracy and any form of education and training related to the defense of human rights and promoting development; organization of human rights and development awareness activities, such as exhibitions, concerts, conferences, colloquia and seminars; combating all forms of exclusion, racism and xenophobia; support for any initiative contributing to socio-economic and cultural development; the association may also undertake any other activity contributing, directly or indirectly, to the aforementioned objectives, provided it is non-profit and within the limits of the legal provisions; a financial benefit may be received, but it must be entirely attributed to the realization of the non-profit activities mentioned in this section; the association may engage in any mobile or real estate transaction that is directly or indirectly related to its purpose and is of a nature to promote the non-profit activities it seeks to achieve.
