The MMS is an independent professional association of active professionals offering mobility management services. It is committed to quality standards and research, ensuring independent and quality-assured mobility management. The association maintains a network among its members and requires adherence to a high level of ethics and professionalism. To achieve this goal, the following activities and means are primarily used: engagement in mobility research, particularly in the study of the interplay between actors, influence and shaping of framework conditions, mobility behavior and its changes, etc.; promotion of continuous further education of members; engagement in the training of mobility advisors; advising and supporting universities on these issues; conducting courses, conferences, study trips, etc.; developing professional statements in consultations; maintaining relationships with associations in Switzerland and abroad that pursue similar goals; maintaining the network among members and exchanging experiences with experts and institutions in related fields; developing standards in mobility management in cooperation with specialist offices at the federal and cantonal levels as well as other stakeholders; safeguarding the interests and advising and informing members and other circles on mobility management. The MMS association can collaborate with like-minded organizations, public specialist offices, and partners from research and private industry to achieve the aforementioned objectives. In doing so, it is committed to transparency towards its members and the public.
