Mohalim der Schweiz

The association aims to organize and promote the collaboration of mohalim active in Switzerland, i.e. individuals involved in the "Brit Mila", the male circumcision according to Jewish Halacha. The association further aims to promote profession-specific training, exercise self-control, and represent its members externally, particularly by commenting on political initiatives, draft laws and laws, engaging in dialogue with authorities and interest groups, and advising and representing members and parents of circumcised boys in any court cases. The association will issue a regulation on the activity of the mohel or participate in the creation of such a regulation. The association does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
