The foundation is a non-profit organization that pursues exclusively charitable purposes. On the one hand, it aims to provide charitable care in the broadest sense, such as providing contributions for the maintenance, education, and training of needy young people, supporting socially disadvantaged, elderly, needy, or disabled individuals, as well as promoting and supporting social, educational, or cultural institutions that are based in Switzerland and are tax-exempt or have their seat in developing or emerging countries. On the other hand, the foundation aims to support and promote cultural and scientific works and projects in Switzerland and abroad, provided there is a connection to Switzerland. Support in this context should be granted in particular to projects in general education, research and science, as well as art and culture (especially painting and music). The foundation can pursue its purposes through its own projects or through grants to tax-exempt third-party organizations within the framework of the aforementioned goals. The foundation can also make general grants to tax-exempt third-party organizations. The foundation has no commercial purpose and does not strive for profit. The founder reserves the right to change the purpose in accordance with Art. 86a of the Swiss Civil Code.
