The foundation aims, on the one hand, to promote and support the musical education of young, financially disadvantaged music talents up to the age of 25. For this purpose, music lessons, masterclasses, related living and travel expenses, study stays, and the purchase or rental of instruments can be financed. The foundation can acquire musical instruments itself and lend them to music talents free of charge. It can also organize or finance music competitions and donate musical instruments as prizes. The musical talent of the potential beneficiary must be certified by a competent institution or a recognized person in the music world to the foundation board. The existence of financial need and the scope of support are determined by the foundation board. The foundation operates within this purpose both domestically and internationally. On the other hand, the foundation's grants are intended to reach young people in need in the Third World. The goal is to support concrete projects of organizations operating directly on site. At the center of these projects are initiatives that contribute to improving the general quality of life, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare. The organization must submit a concrete plan of action and budget to the foundation board. The organization is responsible for controlling the implementation and use of the financial resources and reports annually to the foundation board. The organization allows the foundation board to visit the project on site. The foundation's profits and capital are exclusively dedicated to the aforementioned purposes. Commercial purposes are excluded.
