The company's purpose is to manage and acquire participations in all commercial, industrial and financial enterprises, particularly in the medical field, as well as to provide all related services. It may perform all legal acts serving the company's purpose, including: a) acquiring and disposing of real estate and intellectual property rights, b) creating and transferring companies, c) acquiring participations in companies, d) borrowing and investing funds on the money and capital markets. The company may grant credits, loans or any other type of financing to its direct or indirect parent companies, direct or indirect subsidiaries or other group companies, and provide any type of security for its own obligations and those of such companies, including in the form of guarantees, pledges, global assignments, transfers of ownership for security purposes, security assignments and discharge declarations, even if such credits or securities are granted free of charge. Furthermore, the company may engage in cash pooling or netting with the aforementioned companies, including periodic account balancing. The company may also do all of this without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest, excluding the pursuit of the company's profit motive and taking on a cumulative risk. The company may act in the interest of the group or one of its group companies within the legal framework. It may provide services on behalf of third parties within the usual use of its infrastructure.
