The company's purpose is to acquire, hold, manage, exploit, sell or trade direct or indirect participations in and finance companies of all kinds in Switzerland and abroad, including all types of investment activities such as private equity financing and other financings, also through the provision of risk capital, mezzanine capital or debt capital, as well as the provision of consulting services and other services related to the aforementioned activities. The company may establish branches in Switzerland and abroad, found subsidiaries, participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, and acquire, hold, manage, encumber, exploit and sell real estate and intellectual property rights. The company may grant direct or indirect financing to its direct or indirect subsidiaries and third parties, including its direct or indirect shareholders and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, provide security of all kinds for its own liabilities and those of other companies (including direct or indirect shareholders of the company or companies in which these shareholders are directly or indirectly involved), including by way of pledges on or fiduciary transfers or assignments of the company's assets, or provide guarantees, enter into suretyships or otherwise secure or guarantee the obligations of these other companies, whether for consideration or not.
