The purpose of the association is to increase climate protection with a focus on energy and materials in the event industry in the long term. Organizers and the general public are to be sensitized and motivated in their sustainable behavior through the association's purpose. The association is a non-profit organization. To this end, the association develops and promotes individual sustainability strategies or goals for third parties in the areas of events, entertainment, and event platforms, so that energy is strategically and sustainably reduced and produced in these areas across all activities and supply chains. The use of sustainable materials and the inclusion of the circular economy take into account gray energy. Together with the organizers, we measure their greenhouse gas emissions, the ecological footprint of products, and the climate and environmental risks of supply chains. Subsequently, ecological, social, and economic aspects are promoted in the planning, implementation, and settlement of events. Successful implementations are communicated broadly to motivate the population and companies. All insights from the implementation of the association's purpose are made available to the public at the discretion of the association, subject to any data protection provisions. To achieve its goals, the association can: a) conduct fundraising to provide the necessary financial and material resources for the implementation of the Climate Journey. b) Show the positioning of its Climate Journey at events, entertainment, and event platforms by measuring climate risks and CO2 footprint; develop sustainability strategies or goals; implement concrete measures to reduce risks and footprint; finance and scale climate protection, and promote high information and inspiration of the general public through effective communication measures. c) Develop and publish a standard or label for the sustainability of events. d) Involve and network with foundations, lottery funds, and other public institutions (subsidies from federal, cantonal, and municipal authorities). e) Engage third parties for individual projects who are entrusted with the implementation of the association's purpose. To avoid potential conflicts of interest, the association takes suitable measures. f) Carry out any other activities that are suitable for promoting the association's purpose.
