The Bambusschule complements the public school system as a private school, enabling children and young people to complete their entire compulsory education. The Bambusschule association holds the cantonal permit to operate the Bambusschule and is responsible for the vision, mission statement, and, as a supervisory and participatory body, for the entrepreneurial success. The operational management of the Bambusschule is carried out on behalf of the Bambusschule association by individuals in a 'time bank' model and, if permitted by the income, in an employment relationship. The degree of participation of the association members is listed below. The Bambusschule association does not pursue any commercial purposes and does not strive for profit.
